Every year, the AMSI member institutions run mathematical Honours and Masters subjects in the Advanced Collaborative Environment (ACE) enabling students from several universities at once to participate in Honours and Masters subjects remotely.

We are currently offering the Honours and Masters subjects listed below. This website will be updated as information comes in on the offerings in the 2018 academic year.
If you wish to participate in any of the Honours or Masters subjects in 2018:
- Confirm with your Honours or Masters coordinator if the subject can be taken for credit;
- Email the lecturer directly to express your interest and provide your contact details.
- Contact Maaike Wienk at ace@amsi.org.au about accessing the lectures via videoconference.

Note that the semester start and end dates are not the same for each university, so always check the pdf subject sheets for full information about each subject.
All listed times for semester 1 are AEDT; daylight saving will end Sunday 1 April 2018. Please note that there are public holidays on the following dates – check with your lecturer whether classes are planned on any of these days:

INFORMATION FOR LECTURERS: IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE ACE HONOURS AND MASTERS PROGRAM
AMSI is very excited to announce that the ACE Honours and Masters Program will be substantially enhanced and improved over the next twelve months. Expect to see the following major changes:
- Lecturers may qualify for a payment for the extra effort needed to teach subjects over the ACE network and accommodate extra students
- There will be a consistent program of subjects that is announced well in advance, and in coordination with Summer School and Winter School offerings
- The content of the program will be overseen by an academic standing committee and academic program director.
The revamped ACE Honours program is expected to take full effect in the 2019 academic year. However, since extra resources are available from the start of 2018, we are introducing the lecturer payment scheme immediately. Contact Maaike Wienk at ace@amsi.org.au for more information.
